Did you know 365 Retail Markets has an on-site MicroMarket completely run by employees? Every month, a new MicroMarket committee, composed of employees throughout the organization, is responsible for maintaining the MicroMarket. The diverse team brings a unique perspective to some of the challenges faced while stocking, inventorying and setting promotions. This experience helps us understand our operators’ needs and some of the difficulties they face on the job. Based on these hands on experiences, we are able to continue to innovate and create products that make operator’s (and our) jobs easier and more profitable.
Some of our newest offerings are based on needs we have in our MicroMarket. Inventory Management tools have been developed and user tested in-house based on our desire to have a faster, more intuitive inventory tracking system. The new Inventory Management tools have led to increased inventory accuracy and more stability when switching between MicroMarket Committees. On the other hand, the rotating MicroMarket committee can lead to “adventurous” food ordering leading to an ever-changing lineup of food (and never-ending debates between Munchos fans and Apple Chip enthusiasts). Our MicroMarket uses Digital Signage to help us promote new products as they are introduced into the market and run successful promotions on some of the foods that do not perform as well or may be close to expiration. Be sure to keep an eye out for more of our MicroMarket innovations!
Each month, we take the time to recognize our team members that best exemplified our core values; innovation, collaboration, accountability, service and happiness (iCASH) for the month.
