Initial Business Plan and market testing for an
RFID based self-checkout system begins.

Business operations commenced.

365 Retail complements its industry first
RFID system with a barcode only and
full Cash-Coin Kiosk.

365 Secures significant funding, and begins large scale roll out to the industry’s largest vending operator. Also, secures new office space to accommodate growth.

2012

365’s newly launched Gen2 self-checkout Kiosk wins the NAMA innovation award; moves again to accommodate ever growing staff base. Maintains 99% uptime for both Kiosks and Software.

2013

365 recognized as a Michigan Fast 50 company based on success and revenue growth. Launches the new 365 Gen3 Kiosk as a companion to existing portfolio along with multiple payroll deduct and stored value account options. Became the first provider to achieve full PA-DSS certification. 365 moves again to a permanent office and manufacturing facility. Maintains 99.99% uptime for both Kiosks and software.

2014

365 kicks off the year as a recipient of the Michigan 50 Companies to Watch award. We also released a brand new Kiosk, introduced new partnerships, received Series A Financing, deployed over a dozen feature upgrades to both its kiosk and web management software, added QuickCharge capability, multilingual, SMS receipts and maintained 99.99% Kiosk / Software uptime.

Joseph Hessling - Founder & CEO

Joe Hessling is the Founder and CEO of 365 Retail Markets,the global leader in MicroMarket technology. 365 Retail Markets offers the best-in-class platform for vending, foodservice and hospitality. The company has been pioneering innovation in the vending industry since 2009.

A serial entrepreneur, Joe has founded, owned and operated several companies in the past twenty-five years.  All successful in their own right, some larger than others but always a learning experience.

Joe began in the restaurant business at a young age. His family history as a Howard Johnson’s Franchisee helped mold the knowledge and needs of foodservice that Joe carried on through his career.

Joe’s first company, Suburban Foodservice, a wholesale restaurant supplier, was started in 1988.  Matching his upbringing in the restaurant industry and his knack for technology, this company grew to over two million in sales at its peak.  Not bad for a twenty year old kid.

Along the way, the natural desire for success and interest in business led to ownership in other companies; Crystal Clear and HH Spice Co. to name a couple.

Since 2001, Joe has had much success in the prepared food industry with Abe’s Deli, a multi-location restaurant and corporate catering company, and Sterling Foodservice, a café and catering company with annual revenues over six million.

Joe is also an active seed and start-up investor. Most notably in Down, Sprint.ly, AirVend and QuickLeft.

As his career continues, Joe and his team are looking forward to the challenges ahead and applying management skills, wisdom and innovation to continue the success.

Joe resides in Birmingham, MI with his wife, Kathy, his son Reese and daughter Coco.

John Chidiac - President of 365 International

John Chidiac joined the 365 team in July of 2014, as the Chief Operating Officer. John was responsible for developing and maintaining operations for multiple departments and ensuring that various departments are prepared for the future growth of 365.

As current President of 365 International, John is responsible for the expansion, development and growth of 365 around the world.

Prior to his position at 365 Retail Markets, John held a series of high-level executive positions with Investment firms, technology companies and telecom carriers in the US, Europe and the Middle East.

John specializes in business development, operational restructuring and sales operations. With more than 20 years of management experience, John brings much needed structure to small and medium-sized technology companies.
