365 was recently featured in The Oakland Press with an article on Joe Hessling, Founder & CEO, and how 365 evolved from a company out of a garage into the industry-leader for MicroMarket technology. Read below for the full article:
Basically, Joe Hessling wants to make your break room a fun place to be with high tech vending machines loaded with high quality and great tasting snacks, sandwiches and other food items. He was born into the business as both his grandfather and father worked in the food business. Hessling joined his dad in his food-distributing network at the age of 16. Now at 43 he’s the CEO of Troy-based 365 Retail Markets.
“Following high school I went directly into it but got out in 1999 and started a restaurant which turned into a food management business,” Hessling said. “That’s where I realized the need for the type of thing we do now. It’s been a long road.”
Our SmartTablet Bundle just got smarter! In addition to the all-new Gen3 Kiosk, we’ve also made some upgrades to our SmartTablet. The previous model of the tablet has been retired, and a slimmer, faster model has taken its place. The design is so much slimmer due in part to the fact that the USB port for the barcode scanner has been eliminated entirely and a replaced with a Micro-USB port which allows the scanner to communicate with the tablet via the included adapter.
As always, we have included the award-winning Otterbase hand strap to make your inventories a comfortable experience. Best of all, the price stays the same! You’ll receive the same great SmartTablet bundle – now faster. Place your order now in our MicroMarket Supply Store!
Here at 365, we pride ourselves in continual innovation and in delivering the best possible MicroMarket experience to our operators. I recently had the opportunity to attend one of the world’s best playgrounds for a technology fan like myself – the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.
CES has been a technology tradition since 1967 and has never been open to the public – industry only.
Speakers such as Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer, Cisco CEO John Chambers, Twitter CEO Dick Costolo and Intel CEO Brian Krzanich, amongst others, share their vision of the future with 150,000 gamers, fanboys, geeks, freaks and tech industry types from all over the world.
