With their focus on personalized vending services, Vending Automatic recognized the many opportunities that MicroMarkets would not only bring to them, but to their clients as well. They are the first vending operator that implemented MicroMarkets in Ireland and have had much success.

We reached out to Vending Automatic to learn more about their first year in MicroMarkets.

1. Tell us about your business prior to getting into MicroMarkets.

We have been in business since 1976. Originally we were the first Vending Operators in Ireland. Prior to getting into MicroMarkets, we provided Vending machine Supply, Operation, Service & Sales along with wholesaling products.

2. Why did you decide to get into MicroMarkets?

We were introduced to Micromarkets through our relationship with a large UK based business. It was an opportunity to operate the first Micromarket in Ireland, which was very exciting, especially given we were the first Vending Operators in Ireland.

3. What are the biggest challenges you’ve faced in the first year and how did you solve them?

The biggest challenge was getting used to a new system and dealing with issues outside of our control such as Internet connectivity on site. Also, getting used to efficiently stocking a whole new range of products. Issues were resolved through working closely with providers.

4. What feedback have you received from your customers?

It has been overwhelmingly positive. The client and end users love it!

5. What was the best lesson that you have learned?

Always ensure there is a dedicated internet line for the Kiosk!

6. What does the future hold for you with MicroMarkets?

As the Operator of the first Micromarket in Ireland, the future looks great. We are very excited about the opportunity to place more Micromarkets in Ireland.
